The Chinese central bank has exceeded the 2% stake in MPS and Unicredit, after reaching the same stake in Intesa Sanpaolo and Mediobanca.
People’s Bank of China it has a 2,005% stake in Unicredit and 2,01% in Mps. This can be read in the Consob updates on significant equity investments which specify that the two transactions are dated 29 and 30 June respectively.
The People's Bank of China also recently bought 2,005% of Intesa Sanpaolo and also holds approximately 2% of Mediobanca.
