The amount in April of the amounts reported by the Bank of Italy with the summary information on monetary financial institutions decreased to 861,52 billion from the 864,7 billion reported in March.

Further decline in April in the stock of credits of the financial system to companies. The data released by the Bank of Italy concerns monetary financial institutions (MFIs) resident in Italy, mostly banks, and their loans to companies resident in the euro area, therefore including Italy.

The amount in April of the amounts reported by the Bank of Italy with the summary information on the MFIs decreased to 861,52 billion from the 864,7 billion reported in March. The stock a year earlier was still over 900 billion (901,7 billion) with a drop of around 40 billion over the twelve months.
