Antonio Patuelli he will remain president of the Italian banking association also in the three-year period 2022-2024. This was decided by the executive committee of theAbi, which met on Wednesday morning in the Rome office of Palazzo Altieri.
The decision-making body of the association also "unanimously approved the proposal for a package of statutory changes relating to greater representation of banking groups in the Board, in the Executive Committee and in the Presidency in light of the growing concentration - reads a note – without prejudice to the total number of members and confirming the representations of banking pluralism".
Finally, "the figure of the President Emeritus is foreseen for those who have completed the mandate of President and a high threshold of qualified majority for the confirmation of the President".
