Even the EU has become more pessimistic. And the German bank Bhw has decided to withdraw from the Italian market. At least as far as savings contracts and mortgages. Through a notice sent to customers it was announced yesterday that the German institute suspended "with immediate effect" the sales of contracts of this type in Italy.
The justification comes fromgeneral economic and legal conditions” of our country which “made it necessary to revise the strategy and commercial model of Bhw Bausparkasse Ag for the Italian market”. Therefore, new requests for savings contracts and mortgages or requests for increases on existing contracts will no longer be accepted.
Bhw concludes by specifying that “will fulfill all the obligations deriving from the previously stipulated building savings and mortgage contracts".
