Banca Network blocks the accounts of 30 customers

Banca Network is close to bankruptcy and has blocked, since May 31, the accounts of 30 thousand customers. Without even a warning: only a statement on the site explaining that the measure was necessary to "deal with the difficult situation".

Banca Network has in fact been under extraordinary administration since November 2011: the institute, born from an offshoot of Gianpiero Fiorani's Popolare di Lodi, is now in the hands of two commissioners appointed by the Bank of Italy, the same ones who decided to stop payments. The accounts of Banca Network, which has Sopaf of the Magnoni brothers, Banco Popolare and De Agostini among its main shareholders, tell of a situation on the verge of bankruptcy, in which for now it is the customers who are losing out.
