Banca Imi (Intesa Sanpaolo), profit in the first half of 2012 rises by 37,5% to 401 million euro

The Intesa Sanpaolo investment bank led by Gaetano Miccichè closes the half-year with profits up by 37,5% – Double-digit growth also for the intermediation margin (+40,3%) and the consolidated operating result (+ 51,3%).

Banca Imi, the investment bank of the Intesa Sanpaolo group led by Gaetano Miccichè, closed the first half of 2012 with a net profit of 401 million euro. The result is up by 37,5% compared to the same period a year ago. Double-digit growth also for the intermediation margin, which stood at 860 million, an increase of 40,3%, and for the consolidated result of operating management, at 683 million, an improvement of 51,3%.
