Banking Iphis disbursed the first loan supported by Sace's SupportItalia guarantee. This is the new tool provided by the aid decree to support loans issued by the banking system to Italian companies that have suffered negative economic repercussions following the Russian-Ukrainian crisis and the high energy crisis. The 2,5 million euro transaction was carried out by the Bank in favor of Simec Spa, a Sardinian company operating in the grain processing and marketing sector, which will help support the local durum wheat production chain.

With the new SupportItalia Guarantee, explains a note, in the context of Temporary Crisis Framework launched by the European Commission and valid until 31 December 2022, Banca Ifis will immediately make new medium/long-term loans available to support companies affected by the sharp increase in the cost of raw materials, energy and logistics, both for liquidity, to support working capital, pay personnel costs, lease payments or business unit rental, and for investment purposes.
