Banca Generali, relay at the top: Girelli as president and Motta as new CEO

Giorgio Girelli, at the helm of Banca Generali for 12 years, becomes president in place of the CEO of Generali, Giovanni Perissinotto, who remains only as a director to avoid duplication of duties - The managerial leadership of BG, with a view to continuity, passes to Piermario Motta, general manager since 2005 – The candidates will be proposed to the assembly.

News in Banca Generali in the name of continuity: Giorgio Girelli leaves the position of CEO after 12 years and becomes president in place of the group CEO, Giovanni Perissinotto, who remains as a simple director to avoid duplication of duties. The managerial leadership of Banca Generali is taken on by Piermario Motta, general manager since 2005. The candidatures will be proposed at the next shareholders' meeting to be held on 24 and 26 April in Trieste and go to "reward successful management which has allowed BG to achieve a leading position in Italy in services dedicated to savings and financial advice".
