Azimut, BlackRock has more than 7%

BlackRrock owns 7,087% of Azimut. The figure emerges from the latest Consob updates on relevant shareholdings.

In detail, the US investment giant holds 5,658% of the Italian company in indirect ownership, by way of non-discretionary asset management, while 0,93% is made up of a securities lending transaction and 0,499% refers to other long positions.

Meanwhile, Azimut has successfully placed a senior unsecured bond for a total of 350 million euros. The issue, which was announced on Tuesday, has a duration of 5 years and a maturity set for March 28, 2022. The coupon will be 2 percent annually.

The requests came from almost 200 institutional investors, who sent orders for around 1,2 billion (mainly from Italy, continental Europe, the United Kingdom and Ireland). The allocation by type of investor is made up of asset managers, banks, insurance companies and pension funds.
