The share of the Italian company active in the space sector gains over 8% on the day of its debut on the Stock Exchange – Samantha Cristoforetti also attended the ceremony in Piazza Affari.
Avio makes its debut today in the Star segment of Borsa Italiana. The entry on the Stock Exchange took place following the merger with the Space 2 spac. Around 10 am, the share was quoted at 13,65 euros, against the reference price of 12,57 (+8,4%).
“It is the first time in the world that a space launcher manufacturer has been listed on the Stock Exchange”, commented CEO Giulio Ranzo. The astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti also took part in the ceremony organized in Piazza Affari.
