After a long wait, the new offer for Highways she has arrived. Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, together with foreign funds Blackstone e Macquarie, they “sent to Atlantia the final offer – reads a note – containing some refinements compared to the one sent on 24 February 2021, for the purchase of the 88,06% stake held by Atlantia in Autostrade per l'Italia, or for the purchase of up to 100% of the same in the event of exercise of the co-sale right by the minority shareholders of ASPI”.

The Consortium believes that this offer should be positively evaluated by Atlantia and its shareholders".

The offer presented “is consistent with the approach of the consortium members such as long-term investors and in particular with that of Cdp, the leading investor in the country's infrastructure and for years a shareholder of companies that manage strategic national networks (Snam, Terna, Italgas, and Open Fiber)".
