A Wall Street shortly after 17 pm, the Dow Jones dropped 0,11%, the S&P 500 was flat after climbing up to 1.913,62 points, the Nasdaq lost 0,21%.
Canadian Valeant Pharmaceuticals dropped 3,86% after raising the cash portion of the offer on Allergan valuing the company at $49,44 billion. The house of Botox drops 5,1%.
The euro retreats to 1,359 from 1,363. The price of oil fell, with Brent trading at 109,5 dollars a barrel (-0,4%), and sector stocks slid down.
Eni loses 0,2%, Saipem +0,36%. Tenaris +0,43%.
Telecom Italia shines in Piazza Affari +3,96%. Goldman Sachs intervened on the TLC stock by raising the target price to 1,50 euros and inserting it in its Conviction Buy List.
Another title on the shields is Autogrill +4,23% which announced the opening of the first refreshment point on the Italian highways in collaboration with Eataly. The second quarter is going better than the first, CEO Gianmario Tondato Da Ruos said today.
Atlantia also climbs +0,71% in the Benetton team.
Finmeccanica gains 1,61%, Ansaldo Sts +1,3%, StM +0,62%.
Finally, the banks rebounded: Intesa +1,92%, Unicredit +1,27%, MontePaschi +0,93%.
Good increases also for cooperative banks: Ubi +2,72%, Banco Popolare +2,5%.
