The conundrum of the Autostrade concession and the uncertainty about the reorganization of the holding cause the stock to sink – European lists in the red and Wall Street loses share after the Supreme Court ruling – Spreads recovering – Campari and Cerved star shines

Atlantia ballast Milan, Trump weighs on Wall Street

Bad day for Piazza Affari which was unable to catch up with either the train of American opening favored by the albeit slow recovery of the labor market or the promising signals arriving from Frankfurt. Too heavy is the discount mortgage that is being consumed around the future of Atlantia -8,29% at 13,12 euros. Discussions are still ongoing between the government and the top management of Aspi (subsidiary of Atlantia) on the future of the company one step away from the revocation of the concession. While waiting for more precise indications, Piazza Affari wears the black shirt among contrasted markets.

 The index of Milan loses 1,98% falling back to 19.505, worse than Paris and Madrid -1,2%. Under pressure too London -1,7%. It closes around parity Frankfurt -0,4% supported by the excellent results of Sap +4,6% and Teamviewer +4%. The technology index of the Old Continent extended the positive performance since the beginning of the year to +15,3%, the best European sector in 2020, further widening the gap with respect to the global Eurostoxx index which remained at a depressed -10,7%. Stm gains 1,07%. 

Technology is also running for itself in the USA. Move forward for Apple+0,5%, Amazon and, Microsoft. Labor market data signal a small step forward. Last week, new jobless claims fell by about 100.000 to 1,31 million. But on Wall Street, in addition to the still serious situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, it also weighed the Supreme Court ruling against Donald Trump: the Nasdaq holds thanks to the digital giants but the Dow Jones loses more than 1,5% when it is 18 pm in Italy.

On the bond front slows down the collection of Btp Futura. During the fourth day of the offer, requests were received for around 503 million euros, on the basis of over 15 contracts. The total request is equal to 5,72 billion euros. The spread goes back to 167 points. 

In addition to the Atlantia case, the banking sector weighs on Milan, weak in line with the sector at the European level. Unicredit loses more than 1% and Intesa San Paolo about 0,65%. 

Two positive notes of the day: Cerved +3,5%. The search for a partner for one's NPL division has resumed.

Bright Campari + 2,3%:  UBS raised its target price to 7,9 euros from 6,9 euros.

Conversely, Diasorin dropped Diasorin dropped about 4%, despite the announcement of a contract with the United Kingdom for nationwide screening for the spread of the coronavirus. Recorded +2%.
