The Italian contractor has been awarded a 350 million euro project in partnership with three local companies – The group will have to modernize part of the Warsaw-Lodz railway line and the Lodz Fabryczna underground station – The works will last 42 months, including the design – Now the company has contracts in Poland for 15 billion.

Astaldi, new order in Poland

Polish order for Astaldi. The Italian contractor was awarded 40% of a 350 million euro contract. His task will be to carry out Lot B2 of the project to modernize the Warsaw-Lodz railway line and the Lodz Fabryczna underground station. The works should last 42 months, including the design phase.

The task was entrusted by the PKP (Polish Railways) and the Municipality of Lodz. The work is also financed with European cohesion funds. Astaldi will work in partnership with three other Polish companies. With this new order, the Italian group gets to have contracts in the northern European country for a total amount of 1,5 billion euros.
