Asta Bot, the "rise" for now is that of yields: 8,5 billion 6-month bonds sold, at 0,95%

The Treasury sold all the 8,5 billion 6-month BOTs on offer, but with rising rates, to the highest since October 2012: from 0,919% to 0,949% – Piazza Affari, like all European stock exchanges, is on the rise , driven by the super performance of Gemina: +25,89% after the subsidiary AdR obtained the go-ahead from the government to increase tariffs.

The Treasury sold all the 8,5 billion 6-month BOTs on offer, but with rising rates, to the highest since October 2012. The average yield in fact rose to 0,949% from 0,919% at the November 28 auction . On the secondary market, the 10-year BTP yielded slightly with the yield rising to 4,52% from 4,44% on 21 December. The spread widens to 312 (+9 basis points).

Piazza Affari is up with the FtseMib index gaining 0,51% to 16.418. In Europe, Paris rose by 0,62%, Frankfurt +0,29%, London +0,19%. The confidence climate of Italian businesses fell from 76,5 to 75,4 in December, the lowest since 2006.

Returning to Piazza Affari  Gemina soars by 25,89% after the subsidiary Aeroporti di Roma obtained the go-ahead from the government for the Planning Agreement for the development of the Fiumicino and Ciampino airports and the consequent increase in airport tariffs. Highlights too  Atlantia +0,15%: the next move by the Benetton group could be the merger of Gemina into the infrastructure pole headed by Atlantia.

Also noteworthy was Astaldi +1,63%, which successfully closed the refinancing of the concession project relating to the Chacayes hydroelectric plant in Chile. Furthermore, the construction company could also profit from the investments in the Fiumicino and Ciampino airports unblocked by the tariff increase. Among the other blue chps in evidence Telecom Italia +0,5%.

  Enel +1,01%. The company collected 658 million from Edf after the early exit from the nuclear plant under construction in Flamanville in France: the debt target of 43 billion at the end of 2012 is approaching. Good increases also for A2A +1,6%. Eni rose by 0,22% driven by the rise of more than 2% in crude oil.

Fiat advances by 0,58%. Volatile Finmeccanica which passed after a positive start  to drop 0,3% and then recover to +0,65%. StM rises by 0,3%. Among the banks, Unicredit rose by 0,97%, Intesa +1,16%, MontePaschi +1,47%. Strong increase in Diasorin +2,2%.
