Assolombarda, the industrial association of the Metropolitan City of Milan and the Provinces of Lodi, Monza and Brianza and Pavia has signed acooperation agreement with the Sharjah Health Authority, regulatory body for the health of theEmirate of Sharjah, part of the United Arab Emirates. The aim of the agreement is foster cooperation mutual in the field of healthcare and life sciences.
Promote significant collaborations between hospitals, health institutions and the education system
The agreement, which will have a duration of two years, aims to promote meaningful collaborations between hospitals, health institutions and the education system of both countries. Assolombarda will actively support the Sharjah Health Authority in theidentification of potential local partners on the territory, in order to start collaborations in the sectors of education and training, the exchange of health services and home assistance. The association will support scouting activities for possible partnerships and promote collaboration opportunities between Sharjah organizations and Italian organizations, with particular attention to the Milan area. Furthermore, Assolombarda will give support to the Sharjah Health Authority in organizing local visits to life sciences stakeholders and will promote visits to healthcare facilities in Lombardy. Visits that have already been partially carried out in these days and which have made it possible to enhance some of the area's excellence.
The commitment of the Sharjah Health Authority
For its part, Sharjah Health Authority will support Assolombarda in its institutional and business missions within the Emirate of Sharjah. It will also share collaboration opportunities with the Association for healthcare professionals and organizations wishing to collaborate and set up business operations in the Emirate.
