Artigiano in Fiera: international cuisine in Milan until 9 December

From 1 to 9 December the appointment with artisan products and world food and wine returns to the Fiera di Rho: here is the program and special events.

The food bazaar (and more) is back in Milan: over 150 products arriving from every corner of the world will be exhibited and sold during the week of the Artisan at the Fair, which started on Saturday 1st and will last until Sunday 9th December, of Sant'Ambrogio and Immacolata included. As usual, the appointment is at the Fiera di Rho: admission is free, from 10 to 22 every day. An opportunity always appreciated by Milanese and tourists to buy, see and touch crafts from all over the world, and especially to make a tasty international catering tour.

The event has reached its 23rd twenty-third edition and is now a world food and wine exhibition. Over 40 restaurants - Italian and international - offer menus with different combinations for all tastes and palates: from pizzoccheri from Valtellina, prepared in accordance with the tradition promoted by the Teglio Academy, to Piedmontese agnolotti, from Greek pita to Mexican nachos. Among the numerous products on offer, visitors can taste the "organic" meat of the Maremma breed (the only one still raised in the wild in the pastures that extend between lower Tuscany and upper Lazio), the Brazilian Churrasco, the entrecote of Argentine beef and, for the first time, carioca cuisine based on fish.

After last year's success, it also returns Artimondo Restaurant, the space dedicated to the best Made in Italy recipes, in collaboration with the Federazione Italiana Cuochi, which sees the Italian national team of chefs at work. A juxtaposition between two realities that, together, will give life to a "union" of taste that will touch some of the most important Italian specialties, prepared with natural products skilfully transformed by the hands of craftsmen. Among the big news, the presence of the Neapolitan Pizzaiuoli Association which, also at the Artigiano in Fiera, continues its work of protection and promotion of the original pizza recipe. A symbol of our food culture which, thanks to the collaboration between the Association and the Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies, has obtained the prestigious recognition of "traditional specialty guaranteed" by the European Union. The Neapolitan pizza makers association is currently also working to include the art of Neapolitan pizza among the assets recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site.

The event, which allows visitors to go on a world tour in nine pavilions with products from more than one hundred countries, therefore also represents an extraordinary journey through high-quality catering which offers, in a single location, cuisine and recipes from all over the world. In the various pavilions of the Milanese fair it is in fact possible to taste typical foods from every continent (here is the list) and there is also an area for children, organized by the Magica Compagnia which re-proposes the atmospheres of the Harry Potter saga in scenographic settings that reproduce the spaces of Hogwarts Castle. Even for adults, however, in addition to visiting the stands there will be plenty special events, with popular music and dances performed by guests from different countries (here are the events), with creativity courses in Hall 6 and cooking school in Hall 14, at the Peru stand.
