The president of Parma Calcio, Giampietro Manenti, was arrested this morning on charges of redeployment of illicit capital. The operation was carried out by the Guardia di Finanza and coordinated by the Rome prosecutor's office. 

In all they were arrested 22 Guests, accused for various reasons of embezzlement, criminal association, computer fraud, use of cloned payment cards, money laundering and self-laundering aggravated by the mafia method.

They have been run over 60 searches throughout the national territory.

Investigations connected to the investigation coordinated by the deputy prosecutors Nello Rossi and Michele Prestipino are also underway at the headquarters of the State General Accounting Office in Rome. Among those arrested, according to what is learned, there would also be employees of the Accounting Office itself.

Several tens of millions of euros would have been transferred, through a sophisticated system hacking, from banks to credit cards of foundations and the Parma football team. 

The investigation revealed the complicity of bank officials who took bribes to cover up the hack. Various attempts to transfer the money have failed and often the money has been partially returned. The foundations received the resources as "donations", while Parma football obtained them by making them appear as sponsorships. 

In the meantime, the hearing for the request is scheduled for tomorrow failure of the football team in front of the Court of Parma.
