As usual, September is confirmed as one of the favorite months around Cupertino. That will be precisely the period in which Apple will present the new iPhone by.
According to rumors published by the German site Apfelpage, which cites sources within the Chinese distribution chain, users will find the latest bitten apple product on the shelves next autumn. However, there will be a surprise: denying expectations, the company led by Tim Cook will not put the iPhone 7 on the market. The new Cupertino device will be called iPhone 6SE and will be presented together with its older brother iPhone 6SE Plus.
The choice of name would be indicative. According to rumors, the new smartphone will have similar design and features to the two previous models – 6 and 6S – while a real renewal will only take place next year, with the iPhone 7.
In the event that an official confirmation arrives, it would confirm Apple's new commercial policy which would be trying to extend the iPhone release cycle from 2 to 3 years. In essence, each generation of iPhone, marked by a number, will have three different models brought to the market every year, and not two as has been the case so far with the iPhones of the 3, 4 and 5 series.
