The stock of Soul Holding, which at the beginning of the afternoon gained 4,43%, to 8,14 euros, achieving one of the best performances of Piazza Affari.

The purchases of the company's shares were triggered by the data on net inflows for the first quarter, closed with a new record at 2,2 billion euro. The positive result is largely attributable to the retail component. In the month of March alone, the group collected 895 million.

Total assets under management at the end of March exceeded 62,3 billion, with an increase of approximately 25% on the figure at the end of March 2014, which takes into account a performance effect of assets under management of around 3 billion, with a yield weighted for the mutual fund component by more than 6%.

"The performance data is certainly relevant also in consideration of a historically prudent asset allocation for our product offering, in line with the needs of a retail clientele whose primary investment objective is capital protection", commented Marco Carreri, managing director of Anima Holding and Anima Sgr. The group had closed 2014 with net inflows of 7,6 billion.

Already last Friday the stock had gained 7% in the wake of rumors of the sale by MPS of its 10,3% stake in Anima Sgr. Among the possible buyers there would be Poste Italiane, but the operation would need the Bpm quote go ahead
