Travel ideas and thematic itineraries to attract passengers and increase tourism in Italy, especially from abroad. This is the objective of 'Discover Italy', the new editorial platform launched by Alitalia in collaboration with the Italian Touring Club and Gambero Rosso.

The new inspirational portal, which aims to promote the Belpaese and its excellence, was presented today, in the historic Milan office of the Italian Touring Club, by Alitalia's Chief Commercial Officer and Revenue Management, Fabio Maria Lazzerini, by the President of Touring Club Italiano, Franco Iseppi, and by the President of Gambero Rosso, Paolo Cuccia.

Thanks to the authority and proven experience of Touring Club Italiano and Gambero Rosso, the new Alitalia portal offers original and quality content, offering the visitor an emotional account of the typical features and uniqueness of the various Italian tourist resorts.

'Discover Italy' is a multilingual and multichannel digital platform; contains information, advice, guides and travel experiences and offers a careful and wide selection of destinations in our country. The different thematic itineraries with which each locality is narrated range from food and wine to architecture; from cinema to popular festivals; from lifestyle to sport. All declined in an original and emotional way, with a contemporary cut and personalized proposals for different types of travellers. Editorials, recipes, suggestions on the best experiences to live, tutorials, photos, videos, tests and other interactive contents: these are the tools with which the Italian territories are told on 'Discover Italy', with a view to continuous emotional involvement of the user. Furthermore, a topic search tool will help the traveler to be inspired in choosing their next holiday in Italy. Alitalia special offers are always available for each destination to fly from abroad to the tourist destination consulted.
