With the formation of the "team" that will lead the work of the States General of exports, the conference on the problems of our foreign trade which will be held on 28 and 29 October next in Rome, the preparation of this assembly is entering the final phase.
The six big names in the business world who will discuss the critical issues of the main sectors of our exports will be presented at a press conference to be held tomorrow in Rome.
The six presidents of the thematic tables around which the meeting will be structured are Simone Bettini, Maurizio Marinella, Rodolfo Ortolani, Luca Poncato, Gianluca Rana, Roberto Snaidero.
The tables concern the six main sectors of Made in Italy (Agro-food; Environment/energy; Furniture-home system; Automation - Mechanics - Mobility; Clothing - Personal system and Services) and are made up of trade associations, officials of the economic development ministry, Unioncamere and Assocamerestero. In the final two days of October, the results elaborated will be heard, putting the operators in direct comparison with the regulatory bodies (WTO, EU, Government).

Rome September 8th 2011- The made in Italy "team" is ready, in view of the States General of Foreign Trade on 28 and 29 October: six big names in the business world make their experience available to share the critical issues that the main national production sectors meet in the internationalization process and therefore to identify, together with the government and institutions, possible interventions at national and multilateral level to define the priorities of the Italy-system in the global challenge.
The team will be presented to the press tomorrow Friday 9 September at the headquarters of the Ministry of Economic Development in viale Boston (Eur). The meeting, chaired by the undersecretary for foreign trade, Catia Polidori, is scheduled for 12 noon.
Together with Undersecretary Polidori, Premier Berlusconi's adviser for exports, Massimo Calearo Ciman and six entrepreneurs, presidents of as many sectoral working tables, will participate in the press conference: Simone Bettini, Maurizio Marinella, Rodolfo Ortolani, Luca Poncato, Gianluca Rana, Roberto Snaidero.
