Aiaf, Monday conference with Bankitalia on the credit system and the crisis

The meeting "Banks, value and reflections on the system" promoted by AIAF (Italian Association of Financial Analysts) is scheduled for Monday 26 November in Milan starting at 14,30 pm in the Intesa Sanpaolo conference room (piazza Belgioioso 1) - Also taking part the deputy general manager of the Bank of Italy, Fabio Panetta.

PANETTA (BANKITALIA) IN COMPARISON WITH BANKS. AIAF CONFERENCE ON THE CREDIT SYSTEM AND THE CRISIS

The disbursement of credit to the economic system drops. Bad debts and bad debts are on the rise. To counteract the negative situation, the governor of the Bank of Italy Ignazio Visco: invites bankers to "continue with corporate restructuring processes aimed at containing fixed costs".

The banking question, a few days after the publication of the quarterly reports of the major institutions, will be at the center of the meeting "Banks, value and reflections on the system" promoted byAiaf (Italian Association of Financial Analysts) Monday 26 November afternoon at Milano at the Intesa Sanpaolo conference room (piazza Belgioioso 1).

Participating in the works, among others, Fabio Panetta, Deputy General Manager of the Bank of Italy. A panel discussion will follow, moderated by Salvatore Bragantini which will be attended by: Gregorio De Felice, chief economistt of Entente, Vincent Chiorazzo, Chief Economist Abi e William Zadra ,Head of Planning, Strategy & Capital Management of Unicredit.

The first part of the day, coordinated by AIAF vice president Antonio Tognoli, will be characterized by the analysis of Peter Mognol on the "Results of the banks in 2011 and in the first half of 1 with European comparisons" and from the reports of: Robert Pocket, full professor of Economics of financial intermediaries at the University of Bologna (“assessment in the light of Basel 3”); Luca francischi, adjunct professor of Professional Technique and Corporate Finance at the Cattolica University of Milan (Valuation issues concerning the impairment test", and of Luke Comi (“Financial Crisis and Market Valuation of Banks”).
