These anomalies are usually found years after the presentation of the declaration, with the application of penalties and full interest. Now, with the pre-compiled form, it is possible to identify them in real time and, upon receiving the advance notice, the taxpayer can remedy it through the institute of active repentance, avoiding the actual checks.

Revenue Agency: 220 thousand taxpayers at risk of controls
Soon 220 Italian taxpayers will receive the good-natured notice from the Revenue Agency. The amicable notice is a communication with which the Revenue Agency informs of the check carried out on the tax return, highlighting any taxes and contributions that are not paid by the tax payer.

The recipients of this round of good-natured letters - explains the Revenue Agency - are the taxpayers who have not presented the return despite having received more income from employment or pensions from various substitutes (employers or social security institutions) who they made the adjustment of the taxes.

Good-natured notice: what to do if the taxman's letter arrives?

The amicable notice is a simple communication with respect to which the taxpayer can act in two ways:
– if he deems the request unfounded, he can request cancellation or rectification by going to any office of the Revenue Agency and producing the documentation certifying the correctness of his declaration.
– in the event of taxes actually due, the taxpayer can regularize his tax position enjoying reduced penalties by 29 December. The amicable notice is usually accompanied by a facsimile of the F24 model and includes the tax due, interest and reduced penalties.

The taxpayer who receives the letter from the Revenue Agency can present the Unico Persone Fisiche form by 29 December 2015 (within 90 days of the ordinary deadline of 30 September) benefiting with the active repentance of a significant reduction in the penalties due for the late declaration and for any payments.
