Afghanistan, humanitarian corridors beyond August 31st: it is a question

From 31 August they should become operational i humanitarian corridors to expatriate Afghan and non-Afghan citizens who want to leave afghanistan and that they have the necessary documents. The proposal, presented to the UN by France and Great Britain, would have been accepted by the Taliban. Over a hundred governments around the world have confirmed in a joint statement that they have received assurances to this effect from the new Afghan regime. The document was released by the US State Department in a note which cites sources from the international community but does not explicitly refer to a date. The 31 Augustin any case, the deadline set for the withdrawal of international troops from the country remains. That same day the Taliban will take control of Kabul airport.

"We are all committed to ensuring that our citizens, employees, as well as Afghans who have worked with us and those who are at risk can continue to travel freely to destinations outside Afghanistan - reads the note, signed among others also from the US, Germany, the UK and France – We have received assurances from the Taliban that all foreign nationals and any Afghan nationals with travel authorization from our countries will be able to travel safely and orderly to their departure points and travel out of the country” .

The countries also underline that they will continue to "issue travel documents to designated Afghans" and that they have "the clear expectation and commitment from the Taliban that they can travel", noting "public statements by the Taliban confirming this understanding".
