Bologna Airport: stop to flights from 14 to 18 September

You don't fly to Bologna in mid-September. In fact, Bologna airport has informed airlines and potential travelers that as part of the periodic maintenance program for flight infrastructure, the runway at Bologna Marconi Airport will be closed to air traffic from 00:01 on 14 September to 06:00 on 18 September 2018.

The renovation works - continues the note from the airport company - will affect a large section of the pavement (for a length of one kilometre), and the entire "G" junction, with the upgrading of the relative horizontal signs and the installation of new devices bright.

The period of the intervention has been defined in consideration of the various technical, operational and meteorological aspects, which it is believed can allow a more efficient execution of the programmed works. During the aforementioned period, flights to/from Bologna cannot be operated and the airlines, already informed, have chosen in part to cancel the flights and in part to operate at alternative airports.
