Bologna Airport: record debut at Piazza Affari. 70th company to be listed on the Star segment

In the afternoon of the first day of listing on Piazza Affari, the share of Bologna Airport rose by more than 34%. The stock made its debut this morning as the 70th company listed on the Star segment of Milan. The offering price of the ordinary shares was set at 4,50 euros, but in the afternoon the share traded at around 6 euros.

The quotation in Piazza Affari of Bologna Airport has started with a bang. In the early afternoon, Bologna's Guglielmo Marconi Airport saw an increase of over 36%. Already this morning at the opening in Milan, the share of Bologna Airport took off: it opened with a strong increase, then was suspended due to an excess of increase at 5,18 euro, a positive 15,11%.

Today Borsa Italiana saw the debut of Guglielmo Marconi Airport in Bologna, the 70th company to be listed on the STAR segment of the Electronic Stock Market. Bologna airport is the seventh in Italy for number of passengers and the fourth for worldwide connectivity.

During the placement phase, the company raised around 63,2 million euro gross of fees and expenses relating to the operation, for a capitalization of around 162,4 million euro. The sale offer involved 14.049.476 ordinary shares of Bologna Airport which correspond to 38,92% of the share capital. In the event of full exercise of the greenshoe option, 42,8% of the capital will go to the market. The offer price of the ordinary shares of Bologna Airport was set at 4,50 euros per share, in the lower part of the indicative price range set between 4,40 and 5,20 euros.
