Alitalia's crisis does not stop the growth of the Roman airports. Aeroporti di Roma, the airport company of the Atlantia group that manages Ciampino and Fiumicino, recorded 8 million passengers in the July-August two-month period, including departures, arrivals and transits, in line with last year's summer when the crisis of Alitalia had not yet broken out.
Above all, non-EU presences increased (+6,2%), especially for and from North and South America.
In addition to the good performance of traffic and revenues, Fiumicino is also celebrating the pink jersey for the quality of services awarded by the Airports Council International on the basis of interviews with passengers from over 300 airports around the world.
