Acea: the car market is growing in Europe. Only Germany is lagging behind

Car registrations in Europe rose again in April, for the eighth consecutive month. Acea certifies this by emphasizing that the increase is 4,6% compared to the same month of the previous year. Furthermore, in April the increase recorded in Italy was lower than the average, equal to 1,9 per cent.

The only major market to lag behind is Germany, which lost 3,6 percent. As regards the Fiat group, registrations in April rose by 1,8% over the same month last year and the market share was reduced from 6,4% to 6,3%. In particular, the Fiat brand recorded an increase of 3,7% while Lancia-Chrysler and Alfa Romeo lost 18,4 and 8,2 percent respectively. The Jeep is on the rise, conquering 50,8% more registrations.
