FinecoBank and Banca Generali: funding grows in November

The two protagonists of managed savings publish positive data on November collections. For Finecobank the cumulative figure exceeds 7,5 billion, for Banca Generali it exceeds 5 billion, in line with 2022

The collection of Finecobank

In November Finecobank's net collection it stood at 286,6 million, bringing the cumulative figure from the beginning of the year to 7,566 billion of Euro. In November 2022, collections were positive for 479,6 million for a cumulative total of 11 billion over the 8,669 months.

In detail, the asset mix sees a robust component managed at 214 million: Fineco Asset Management records retail collections of 238 million, intercepting outflows frominsurance (-206 million). There managed component it is instead negative for 313 million, while the direct collection it is positive for 386 million, a figure that also includes the seasonality linked to the payment of taxes in the month (560 million), Fineco specifies in a note.

 I brokerage revenue are estimated for the month of November at 15 million, an increase of approximately 30% compared to the average monthly revenues between 2017 and 2019. Since the beginning of the year, brokerage revenues are estimated at approximately 172 million.

All this is strengthened by the significant acceleration in the number of new customers, which confirms the attractiveness of our model".

In Piazza Affari, after the publication of the data on the collection, Finecobank gains 4,2%, returning to the highest levels in over four months above 13 euros and achieving the best performance of the Ftse Mib (-0,2%).

Banca Generali's collection 

In November the net funding of Banca Generali was equal to 366 million euros, a figure that highlights "a clear improvement in its product composition with a return of interest in managed and insurance solutions", explains the bank led by Gian Maria Mossa in a note.

Year to date, the total collection exceeded 5 billion, in line with last year's result. In November 2022 the net collection was 501 million, last month it stood at 311 million.

In its note, Banca Generali underlines the results obtained by new collection in advanced consultancy which stood at 70 million in November for a total of almost 1,4 billion since the beginning of the year (against 619 million in the corresponding period of 2022).

The CEO and CEO Gian Maria Mossa, commented: “Another very solid month in flows despite economic pressures and the rate environment. We are happy to see that the work done to continuously improve the dynamics of the offer has produced positive concrete results as can be seen from the quality of the product mix and the return of attention to managed solutions linked to protection and diversification. The signals that reach us from our bankers, in terms of the growth of new customers and the demand for advanced consultancy, confirm the strength of our positioning in the private sector and the expectations of a positive end to the year in terms of volumes and quality of the harvest".

In Piazza Affari, after the publication of the data on the November collection, the Banca Generali stock 0,36% at 33,36 euros per share.
