Renzo Rosso, his life becomes a film with AI. "Be Brave" debuts in Venice.

La provocation, this time, passes through the screen. The story of Renzo Rosso comes to the cinema through artificial intelligence with "be brave“, the documentary film directed by Francesco Carrozzini and produced by Lorenzo Mieli and Mario Gianani's Our Films. Presented on September 10th as a world premiere at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, in the Official Selection, the film tells the story of the founder and president of the OTB group through an expressive choice that evokes the spirit of its protagonist.

Artificial intelligence to tell the story of Renzo Rosso

Entirely made with AI, “Be Brave” brings one of the most debated tools of the moment to the center of the biographical narrative. Carrozzini uses it to construct a portrait of Rosso described as original and uncompromising, maintaining full creative control over all elements of the film. The technology thus becomes part of the language chosen to showcase the entrepreneur. At its core, it delivers a message to the younger generation, embodying Rosso's call to overcome conventions and fears. "Break every rule. Don't be afraid."

An exhortation consistent with the identity of OTB, an acronym for "Only The Brave." The group includes Diesel, Jil Sander, Maison Margiela, Marni, and Viktor & Rolf, controls Staff International and Brave Kid, and holds a stake in the American brand Amiri. With over 7.000 employees worldwide, it combines support for international creativity with a focus on technology, business sustainability, and social activities through the OTB Foundation.
