This morning the helicopter in which the prime minister, Matteo Renzi, was traveling was forced to make an emergency landing in the province of Arezzo. The aircraft, which was carrying the Premier from Florence to Rome, was forced to land due to technical problems.
The helicopter then landed around 8 in a sports field in Badia al Pino, in the Municipality of Civitella in Valdichiana, without any consequences for the passengers. From Badia al Pino Renzi was picked up by car and left for Rome.
“This morning a sudden visit from the Prime Minister – writes the mayor of Civitella, Massimiliano Dindalini (Pd) on Facebook -. Dear Matteo Renzi, I understand the rush, first of all Italy, but the next time you land in Civitella allow us time to buy you a coffee”.
