Protests: the ranking of the most and least virtuous cities in Italy

In 2017, the protests collapsed. Last year 513 checks and bills of exchange were protested, for a total value of 829 million, data that in percentage terms they represent a drop of 37 percent compared to 2016 when the number of protests had exceeded 1,3 million. These are the data disclosed by Unioncamere and InfoCamere.

Going into the details of the analysis, most of the protests in 2017 concerned change them: 413.971, 81% of the total. On the other hand, the non-payments of "I'll pay”: between 2015 and 2017 the figure fell by 31% in number and 40% in terms of value. Down in the same time window too bad checks: -27% in quantity and 32% in value.

From a geographical point of view, the largest drop was recorded in the Marche (-30,4%), followed by Trentino Alto Adige (-21,5%) And Veneto (-19%). In monetary terms, however, the Valle d'Aosta (-47,3%) followed by Sicilia (-39,5% compared to 2016).

From regions to cities: at the top of the ranking of the number of discoveries we find Roma, which totaled 2017 protests in 67.648: In second and third place we find Milano with 43.669 e Napoli  with 36.643.

Instead, the most virtuous city in Italy is Fermo with 334 bills protested, followed by Aosta 380 and Belluno 405.
