Piazza Affari takes a breather after the great race in bank stocks. In Milan, the FtseMib index (-0,26%) settles just below 17 thousand points. Similar declines for the other Stock Exchanges of the Old Continent. Almost flat Madrid. Since the beginning of the month, the Ftse Mib index has gained 3,4% and in the same period the EuroStoxx index has risen by 1,4%.

The title rebels against the climate of expectation, on the eve of the ECB directorate Mount Paschi: +3,63 at 0,20 around midday. Attention remains alive for the Passera plan, even if the institute has confirmed its "firm intention" to carry forward the capital increase of 5 billion and the simultaneous sale of non-performing loans. In the meantime, however, the ex-minister's proposal, which limits the market demand to 1,5 billion, also remains on the table. It will be investigated immediately after the approval of the plan.

Salt too Pop. Emily (+1%): there is the date of the extraordinary meeting on the transformation into a joint-stock company, it is November 26th. The unitary liquidation value of the Bper shares subject to withdrawal was determined at 3,8070 euros per share.

But the real exploit of the morning is Intermobiliare Bank: after the announcement of change of directors, shares jumped 18% and traded up 15,43% to 1,25 euros.

On the macro front, the market is cautious after the data on Chinese GDP rose by 6,7%, as expected, but only thanks to the effervescence of the real estate market. On the other hand, industrial production slows down again (+6,1%).

Change euro/dollar stable at 1,097. The markets are looking not only to the ECB but also to the publication of the Beige Book by the Federal Reserve, expected in the evening.

Up the Petroleum Brent (+1,5%), at 52,4 dollars a barrel. Saipem rises by 2,7%, on the maximum since the beginning of September: Goldman Sachs confirmed the Buy recommendation, the target price is 0,60 euro. Unchanged Eni.

A positive morning in Piazza Affari for Post (+1,1%) pending the presentation of an offer for Pioneer, an asset management company put up for sale by Unicredit, down 0,9%. The consortium made up of the Post Office, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti and Anima will have to oppose Amundi's proposal, which confirmed its interest in the company but denied the figure (4 billion) reported by the media.

On the front of analyst reports to report Snam (-0,2%): Kepler Cheuvreux raised the rating to Buy from Hold, bringing the target price to 5,4 euros from 5,1 euros. 

Iren it jumped by 2,16% after the announcement of the industrial plan to 2021 which provides for an increase in the dividend from 5,5 cents to 8.

Ferrari +0,2%: JP Morgan raised the target price to 57 dollars (51,9 euros) from 52 dollars, confirming the Neutral rating. Salt too Fiat Chrysler +0,4%: the automaker is forced to recall 74.800 vehicles in North America (USA and Canada) due to alternator problems. 

Mark the step Telecom Italy (-0,2%). The CEO Flavio Cattaneo says that the acquisition of new customers in the landline segment recorded a double-digit annual increase in September. Furthermore, Telecom Italia is not interested in a possible acquisition of the Brazilian Oi. Mediaset -0,7%.

Sale Fincantieri (+1,2%): Virgin Voyages has ordered three new cruise ships for a total value of over 2 billion dollars.
