Farewell to Unity. The newspaper founded in 1924 by Antonio Gramsci gives way to "Democratica", a new editorial project that will be directed by the former co-director of the historic left-wing newspaper, Andrea Romano, who has now moved over to the new newspaper.
“It is the first case in Italy of a political, digital and multimedia newspaper that is distributed free of charge. We have just closed the very first issue: in time for the national assembly of the dem circles in Milan”, says Romano from the stage of the Linear Ciak theatre.
“We are interested in changing people's lives, not chasing the political formulas of the past. For this reason, a digital link sheet was born today (bit.ly/democratica), for this reason we will see you in Milan in a few hours with the clubs, for this reason we will do the electoral campaign talking about content and ideas. According to the intentions of the Democratic Democratic Party, it will be a tool that will complete the "communication day" of the party. “Democratica will be released every day at 13.30 pm – anticipates the director – and can be downloaded from social networks, from the Bob app, from the Pd and Unità.tv websites”, continues Romano. The newspaper will not be on newsstands or online, but will be a downloadable pdf, consisting of 6-10 pages, with external links and multimedia content such as videos and audio files.
