La show, first retrospective in Italy on Max Ernst, is edited by Martina Mazzotta, researcher at the Warburg Institute in London and by Jürgen Pech, from 2006 to 2021 Chief Curator of the Max Ernst Museum in Brühl. The exhibition – on display at Royal Palace of Milan from 4 October 2022 to 26 February 2023 – sees over 400 works including paintings, sculptures, drawings, collages, photographs, jewelery and illustrated books from museums, foundations and private collections in Italy and abroad.
La shows Max Ernst it also presents a large and ideal library of the artist, made up of illustrated books, study manuals, photographs, objects and documents.
Max Ernst exhibition: reductions on entrance tickets for Trenitalia customers
To the holders of Cartafreccia who will reach Milan aboard the Frecce or Intercity, traveling within three days of entering the exhibition, it will be sufficient to show the train ticket to visit the exhibition with special discounts: two admissions for the price of one if traveling as a couple or reduction on the entrance ticket if you are alone.
The reduction of the entrance ticket is also foreseen for those traveling with regional trains, upon presentation of a valid one-way ticket to Milan (always within three days of entering the exhibition), or a Trenitalia season ticket (monthly or annual ) at a supra-regional rate (Emilia-Romagna, Liguria, Veneto, Piedmont, Tuscany, Lazio, Campania) valid for reaching Milan.
