Milano returns to the capital of women's fashion. It opens today Tuesday 21 February the Milan Fashion Week 2023 with a packed calendar of Fall/Winter fashion shows and events, the mass return of foreigners, the streets of the center invaded by splendid top models and by journalists and buyers rushing between a fashion show and an unmissable invitation. From today until Monday 27 the spotlights will be turned back on Italian style and on 165 appointments, 56 of which are fashion shows. There are all the most important names in Italian women's fashion and there is no shortage of foreigners who may not parade, like Louis Vuitton, but do not give up being present with their own appointment.
Milan women's fashion: foreigners are back, skyrocketing prices
According to Confcommercio, out of the 103 arrivals expected for Milan Fashion Week 2023, at least 45.500 are foreigners, up 15% on last year's attendance. And Confcommercio has also calculated an induced income of over 70 million, with the strongest fallout for the metropolitan area of Milan which is awarded 52,6 million euros on the front of hotels and restaurants. The rest goes to Como and Monza Brianza. Skyrocketing figures, even for quick rentals, needless to say.

Also the Chamber of Fashion takes the field directly with the events by opening the doors of today Giurisconsult Palace which becomes the seat, throughout the week, of the Fashion Hub where you can follow debates, conferences and open your eyes to young creatives and their projects. Camera Moda also organizes da Tuesday evening Starbucks a dinner, with the performance of a (top secret) artist fresh from a Grammy Award. The Teatro alla Scala will host a Hearst Italia event, with cocktails and performances dedicated to Harper's Bazaar. Among the most exclusive and highly anticipated events, there is that of Pradaon February 23rd. During the day it parades and in the evening "Private party" in via Lorenzini 14, the address of the Foundation.
"Ciao Kim" is the title of the gala dinner of Dolce & Gabbana, Saturday evening. The most exclusive worldliness is ensured by the stylist duo who invite to the Sala delle Cariatidi to celebrate Kim Kardashian, protagonist of their advertising company whose photos will be exhibited at Palazzo Reale until February 26th. Other events include that of Louis Vuitton in via Bagutta, for the LV Trainer sneakers interpreted by famous artists of the New York scene as well as at the top of the list of parties not to be missed is the dinner offered by Brunello Cucinelli in its headquarters in via Montello. At the Dazi in Piazza Sempione there will be various parties, from that of the Krizia brand to that of ADD.
