Benaglia (Fim Cisl): "Still a few concrete results from the Government"

“The mobilization that we have put in place has reached important results, demonstrating once again, how the metalworkers generously and not in a cooperative manner, are attentive to what is the industrial perspective of the whole country and with it the future of our economy – continued Benaglia -. With today's mobilization we have highlighted the important points of a dialogue that has been managed with all the governments but has so far achieved few concrete results".

"For this reason we are relaunching today, like Fim Cisl together with other unions, the reasons for a great pact around the ecological and digital transition of the metalworking supply chain which represents the only perspective to be able to govern the processes in progress and not leave businesses alone, and workers by making the most of social dialogue with the aim of obtaining concrete results”.

“We remind once again that our metalworking sector a low precariousness, high wages e good jobs. This means that investing in this sector by the government is necessary and good for the whole country". And again: “In the next few days we will continue the dialogue that has already been activated for some time with this Government in order to be able to achieve concrete and useful results step by step”.

Benaglia: "Today's mobilization calls for different answers from the past"

“We immediately expect to intensify the dialogue and to achieve better results than in the past. We will certainly evaluate with the other unions how to continue knowing that the strike is an exceptional tool that must be implemented in a prudent manner. Like Fim, Fiom, Uilm we will evaluate further ways to be able to animate autumn in the coming weeks. Now is the time to characterize our prospects and our perspectives, table by table our proposals and with them the need to obtain concrete results”, concluded the secretary general.
