Juve, great return of Allegri: there is an agreement

It seemed like a goodbye and instead it was just a pause for reflection. After two years of separation, Massimiliano Allegri returns to the Juventus bench. The agreement between the parties was reached this morning and the signature should arrive in the next few hours, after the conclusion of the Exor meeting currently in progress. The coach from Livorno left the Juventus club two years ago after winning five league titles, four Italian Cups and four Super Cups in just five seasons. However, the two Champions League finals lost had weighed. Maurizio Sarri was called to succeed Allegri, who in turn was replaced after just one year by Andrea Pirlo. The latter leaves Juve today after a season finished in fourth place in the league and with an Italian Cup and an Italian Super Cup on his bulletin board.

Until a few hours ago, Allegri seemed poised between Juventus and Inter, which yesterday “found an agreement for the consensual termination of the contract with the coach Antonio Conte”, reads the company statement. Even the Real Madrid, who in the same hours concluded his relationship with Zinedine Zidane (and Conte could go in his place). But the negotiations between Allegri and Juve had already gone too far for everything to be called into question. And in the end the coach decided to go back to what was his home for five years and try the shot that he has never succeeded in the past. In fact, the goal is not only to bring the Scudetto back to Turin, but above all that of win the Champions League 25 years after the success against Ajax.

According to rumors, by tonight Allegri will sign a three or four-year contract that will ensure him broad decision-making powers. The salary should amount to 8,5-9 million per season. There will be beside him Federico Cherubini, who in the past few hours has taken the place of the former general manager Fabio Paratici.

On the Stock Exchange, while the shareholders' meeting of the parent company Exor is in progress, the Juventus share gains 1,94%.
