Istat notes that the monthly seasonally adjusted index presents positive cyclical changes in the groupings of energy (+2,4%), intermediate goods (+1,1%) and capital goods (+0,8%); on the other hand, consumer goods are down (-0,9%).

In trend terms, the indices corrected for calendar effects recorded a marked positive variation in the energy sector (+10,6%); instrumental goods (+3,9%) and intermediate goods (+2,4%) also increased, while a negative change was recorded by consumer goods (-0,1%).

For sectors of economic activity, in November the sectors that recorded the greatest trend growth were those of the supply of electricity, gas, steam and air (+14,5%), the manufacture of computers, electronic and optical products, electromedical equipment, measuring and watches (+6,7%) and other manufacturing industries, repair and installation of machinery and equipment (+5,8%).

The largest declines are recorded in the sectors of textile, clothing, leather and accessories (-5,0%), the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products and the manufacture of electrical appliances and non-electrical household appliances (both -4,3%). XNUMX%).
