A huge wine shop where professionals, winemakers and enthusiasts talk about and taste the best wines selected and awarded by Slow Wine 2024 guide, published by Slow Food Editore: it is the one organized for Saturday 7 October from 14pm to 20pm in the large spaces of Superstudio Maxi, in via Moncucco 35, in Milan.
I The winemakers who are the protagonists of this narrative will be behind the tasting tables. In fact, each single label will be presented to enthusiasts by the faces and words of the producers who will participate in the tasting, describing all the countless facets of their wines, from the earth to the glass.
The desire to tell their story has involved producers from every region: currently they are 430 companies present at Superstudio Maxi, but given the request for participation from companies, the number is destined to increase

Available online on www.slowfoodeditore.it from 2 October and from 11 October in all bookstores, the guide again this year Slow Wine reports a snapshot of the Italian wine sector, describing 2006 companies visited and reviewed thanks to the collaboration of over 200 experts present throughout the peninsula. Life stories that summarize one of the cultural and economic heritages of which we can be most proud in Italy: «The winemakers are the number one protagonists of this film, but none of the many wine enthusiasts feel like an extra, specifies Giancarlo Gariglio, curator of the guide, without those who believed in a certain type of agriculture and oenology we would not be where we are now, but neither would we be without those who supported - through purchasing, promotion and stubborn storytelling - this revolution. To open the day of presentation of the guide one round table entitled At any cost? The world of wine between price crises and speculationAnd. During the debate, experts from the wine supply chain address the challenges facing the production and distribution of wine, requiring a reflection on the factors that contribute to establishing the cost of what we drink or would like to drink. At the end, the presentation of the special prizes of the Slow Wine 2024 guide: to the Young Winemaker, for Sustainable Viticulture, to the Career, to the New Product of the Year, for Hospitality in the cellar and Slow Wine Coalition to solidarity.
