At the same time, an agreement was signed for the sale, again in Central Puerto, of the 41,2% held in the thermoelectric generation company Dock Sud, the completion of which - specifies a note from Enel - is expected by the first quarter of 2023, subject to the fulfillment of certain conditions precedent. The total consideration for the sale of Enel's interests in the two companies amounts to 102 million US dollars.

Waterfront is located in the city of Buenos Aires and is the largest thermal power plant in Argentina, built with a total capacity of 2.305 MW. Dock Sud owns and operates a gas-fired power plant located in the Avellaneda district of Buenos Aires, with an installed capacity of 870 MW.

Lastly, Enel recalls that it is present in Argentina through Enel Argentina, a company controlled by Enel Americas. In the generation sector, in addition to the assets currently being sold, the Group manages Enel Generación El Chocón, a 1.328 MW hydroelectric plant. Furthermore, Enel distributes and sells energy to approximately 2,6 million customers in the Greater Buenos Aires area and is present in the energy efficiency, home services and distributed generation sectors with Enel X Global Retail, as well as in electric mobility sector with Enel X Way.

Argentina, together with Peru, is one of the countries from which Enel expects to exit through a total disposal plan of 21 billion, of which almost half of the proceeds will be allocated to debt reduction within 51-52 billion.
