Cdp-Unicredit with Sace: 35 million to finance the innovation of Unox Group ovens

UniCredit e CDP with the guarantee SACE they will provide 35 million to unox, the first producer of professional ovens in the world to support its plans for innovation, occupational safety and sustainable development. In detail, CDP has made available a loan of 15 million with the aim of supporting investments in innovation, such as the conception of a new range of highly efficient technological products or the development of digital applications that allow the management of the installed product by the customer even remotely.

UniCredit has instead structured, with the intervention of guarantee Sace, a 20 million euro transaction, linked to the achievement of two ESG objectives that the company has undertaken to achieve within 3 years: the purchase of 100% electricity from renewable sources and the achievement of ISO45001 certification relating to employee safety on the workplace.

After all, these goals fit Unox multi-year industrial plan, Padua-based company that produces and markets professional ovens for the catering, retail, pastry and bakery sectors, focused on sustainability, aiming to achieve net zero emissions by 2030.

Unox plans the construction of Unox City, an industrial, logistic and innovation hub dedicated to the production of its products for a total investment of 68 million, expansion abroad with the construction of a new production site in the United States, operational from 2023, where a 700 kW photovoltaic system will be installed and numerous Unox Experience Centers will be opened around the world to get closer to the end customer.

Unox sees 2022 turnover of 270 million, up 50% on 2021

The Unox group closed the 2021 with a consolidated turnover of 182 million, 88% on foreign markets, where it is present with 42 branches covering all the various geographical areas. 40% of the Group's 1.015 collaborators live and work abroad in order to be able to offer pre- and post-sales services in all the countries where Unox operates. The turnover 2022 should reach 270 million euros, up 50% on 2021 and 100% on 2019: in fact, the company has just closed the third quarter of 2022 with a turnover of 191,4 million, up 63% on to the same period of the previous year and by 131% compared to the pre-pandemic period of 2019

This is why we have decided to install over 5 MW of photovoltaic production over the next 3 years, according to a structural strategy aimed at generating green energy that the Group has been implementing for years.
