Within the year Sanpaolo Invest Sim will be merged into Fideuram, which already controls the securities firm 100%. The operation, which naturally awaits the necessary authorizations from the relevant Authorities, is part of the rationalization process of Fideuram-Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking, launched some time ago by the managing director Tommaso Corcos. Already today the Sim, whose brand will however be maintained, is integrated with Fideuram in terms of organisation, operations, commercial model, product catalogue, management and remuneration and incentive model for its financial advisors. The merger by incorporation will thus complete the integration process.
Sanpaolo Invest-Fideuram: after the merger, the financial advisor networks will remain separate
The merger into Fideuram will not modify the services offered to customers and the SIM distribution model based on the current network of financial advisors which will remain separate from that of Fideuram.
At the end of March of this year Sanpaolo Invest registered assets under management and administration for approximately 29,6 billion euros, 169 thousand customers and around 1.200 financial advisors.
