There is no peace in Banca Carige. Another member of the board of directors of the Ligurian institute, Francesca Balzani, has resigned, which will take effect from the date of the meeting called to appoint the new chairman. The step back is motivated by differences arose regarding governance of the bank.
In recent days they had already resigned the president of Banca Carige, Giuseppe Tesauro, and Councilor Stefano Lunardi.
The board of directors announced in a note that during the next meeting, scheduled for July 10, "it will examine the measures to be taken".
Meanwhile, the Banca Carige stock on the Stock Exchange it slipped down by 2,33%, to 0,0084 euros. On average for the last year, the shares lost 58,71%, but the performance over the month is positive (+6,33%).
