Apple, in October the launch of the mini-iPad. Price expected to drop

The restyling of the iPad features a 7,85-inch display, against the 9,7 of the latest version, without high-definition Retina technology – Still doubts about the price, which however should go down and put the new product in direct competition with Google Nexus 7 and Microsoft Surface.

Still a tablet, but this time smaller and cheaper. It's the latest house find Apple , which has decided to make one of its most successful jewels more accessible and manageable: His Majesty iPad. Rumors about the launch of the new product had been circulating for some time, but today the confirmation comes from a reliable source such as the economic news site Bloomberg.

Apparently the restyling of the iPad provides a 7,85 inch display, against the 9,7 of the last version, the second of the series. Also, the new device will lack high-definition Retina technology.

The official announcement should arrive in October, perhaps together with that of the iPhone 5, which still remains the most awaited among the latest efforts of the bitten apple.

The cost, of course, is still a mystery, but the new features suggest it could be relatively low. The price cut would put the product in direct competition with Google Nexus 7 (which is a phone, but looks like a tablet) and Microsoft Surface (made in Redmond technology, to be applied above all to tablets). A new war with tablets would thus open between the three world giants.
