Acea completes the acquisition of Aquanexa for €205 million, through its subsidiary a.Quantum.

Acea, a public multi-utility active in the water and energy sector, has announced that it has finalized, through its subsidiary a.Quantum, the acquisition of Aquanexa from Algebris InvestmentsThe economic value of the transaction in terms of Enterprise Value for 100% of Aquanexa, with reference to the current perimeter, is approximately 205 million euros.

The acquired company's pro forma consolidated EBITDA amounted to approximately €30 million in 2025. The current scope could expand as a result of the acquisitions currently being finalized, resulting in an increase in variable price components, within the limits and under the conditions specified in the agreements. The transaction, approved by the competent authorities, is part of the strategy of further Strengthening Acea's leadership and expertise in the water sector, promoting the development of innovative solutions and services for increasingly efficient and sustainable network management.
