From Saturday 5th August the new one arrives digital ticket on regional trains. This was announced in a note by Trenitalia, the lead company of the Polo Passengeri of the FS Group. The new digital ticket can be purchased on the App, on the Trenitalia website, travel agencies and other authorized operators. Furthermore, again from next Saturday Trenitalia will also launch a new link evening with the Frecciarossa 1000 between the airport of Roma Fiumicino e Napoli

"Flexible" digital ticket for regionals: what it is and how it works

Once the ticket has been purchased, it will be possible to make a unlimited number of date and time changes until 23:59 of the day before the trip, while on the day of the trip it will be possible to make an unlimited number of hour changes up to 23:59, bringing forward or postponing the departure. There will therefore be the possibility of making changes, which is impossible with the past method.

The other important novelty is that the traveler will be able to carry out the check-in from his smartphone, before boarding. The validation can be performed as a registered user in the "my trips" area of ​​the site, or of the Trenitalia App. Those who are not registered, on the other hand, can check in by connecting to the link in the e-mail or text message received when purchasing the ticket. The check-in facility is available from midnight on the day of travel until departure time.

Trenitalia: from 5 August new connection between Fiumicino and Naples

The train will leave from the station Fiumicino airport at 21:53 to get to Central Naples at 23pm, with a stop at Rome Termini.

The new service adds to the direct Frecciarossa connection which departs from Fiumicino at 9:38 and arrives in Naples at 11:33 and the one in the opposite direction which departs from the Campania capital at 5:45 and arrives at Fiumicino Airport at 7:52.
