After a long discussion lasting six months, the agreement was signed at the Industrial Union of Turin new economic agreement for Specific Collective Labor Agreement (Ccsl) which concerns over 60 thousand employees di Stellantis, Cnh Industrial, Iveco e Classic Ferrari for sale. The renewal covers the two-year period 2025-2026, thus completing the four-year coverage 2023-2026, started with the previous agreement of 8 March 2023. Fim, Uilm, Fismic, Uglm and the Quadri Association joined the signature.

The agreement results in a overall salary increase of 18,66% in four years, with an average growth in the pay slip of 350 euros, of which about 140 in the next two years. In addition to this, two additional grants will be madeone-off fee of 240 euros each, scheduled for June 2025 and April 2026. A result that, in a still complicated moment for the automotive sector, represents a positive sign of stability and confidence for the unions.

Increases and performance bonuses

The agreement provides for a progressive increase in basic pay: +3,7% from June 2025, +2% from January 2026 and +0,8% from November 2026. For an average worker (third professional group, former fifth level metalworker), the increase will be approximately 139,80 euros per month. The increases will also have an effect on indirect and deferred institutions, such as increases and TFR.

Important news is coming also on the performance bonus front. For Cnh, Iveco and Stellantis, the maximum amount will rise above 10% of the annual salary, up to 11,55% in the case of Stellantis, thanks to the modification of the local indicators relating to transformation costs, quality and market share. It is also Eliminated the threshold linked to free cash flow, which had prevented the tax exemption of the bonus in 2024. For Ferrari, the specific company bonus remains in force.

Commissions for Merit and Professionalism

In addition to the salary increases, the contract introduces tools for the enhancement of skills. They have been two commissions established, one for CNH Industrial and Iveco, the other for Stellantis, with the task of developing individual reward systems based on objective and measurable criteria.

“In a context of uncertainty, we have once again signed certainties and improvements,” they declared Sara Rinaudo e Robert DiMaulo, by Fismic Confsal. “The renewal of the CCSL strengthens wages, enhances professionalism and offers new prospects to workers. The CCSL confirms itself as a winning choice”.

For Stellantis, the commission is will initially focus on line workers, focusing on versatility across multiple workstations, and then extending the enhancement to other professional areas. For employees who are not members of the union, a one-off contract fee of 35 euros is foreseen, unless expressly waived.

The unions are satisfied

The agreement has collected the unanimous consent of the signatory acronyms, who called it “an important result” in a difficult moment for the sector. “We have ensured the full recovery of purchasing power in very difficult conditions of high inflation and crisis in the automotive sector,” he said Rocco Palombella, general secretary Uilm. “We believe that this agreement can set a positive example of union relations for the entire metalworking sector, as well as a sign of the will to continue to believe in Italy".

On the same line also the Fim Cisl, who with the secretary Ferdinand Ulianus and the automotive sector coordinator Stephen Boschini he underlined the value of the agreement for “one of the most important sectors of our metalworking industry, in a particularly difficult moment”.
