TX Logistics, part of the Logistics Hub of FS group led by Sabrina De Filippis, promotes rail freight transport as a sustainable solution to achieve the necessary CO2 reductions by 2030. The initiative, launched in Duisburg in collaboration with the German associations VDV, BME and Die Güterbahnen, aims to raise awareness among European public opinion on the importance of this modal shift.
The message is clear: the countdown has begun, but there are still opportunities to take the necessary measures and make rail transport the main linchpin to reduce CO2 emissions by 65% by 2030 compared to 1990. He underlined this Albert Bastius, COO of TX Logistik, during the presentation.
